Moses May Celebration

On May 6-7, the Moses Project welcomed the 2023-2024 cohort to Des Moines for a program completion celebration. The two day event consisted of worship led by Dr. Michael Elsbernd, preaching from Rev. Steve Peterson and Rev. Bob Chell, a learning opportunity with Rev. Steve Peterson on conflict, time with mentor and mini-cohorts, a mystery gift and devotion, and a certificate ceremony, which included remarks from Grand View President Dr. Rachelle Keck. See below the slideshow presentation celebrating our 2023-2024 cohort, which includes a quote for each pastor from their mentor. The ceremony concluded with a thank you to all the Moses mentors but especially Rev. Bob Chell, who after five years with Moses, is retiring. He has helped over 100 rural pastors thrive. Thank you, Pastor Bob! Your ministry to rural pastors made a difference.
