We're excited to get LENTfest going, but won't be posting regular prompts and devotions until, well, Lent! Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, kicks off March 8th, 2011. Updates until then will be infrequent, sorry kiddos! Let us know if you'll be following along the prompts and daily reflections throughout Lent! Until then, start brainstorming- pick a few friends you can share LENTfest to, and decide what you'll be giving up for Lent! Lent is a time of repentance, reflection, and pinpointing areas you can work on to help deepen your walk with God. It is a time of celebration as we look forward to the resurrection of Jesus Christ- our Savior! But as we see it, it's also a time for fellowship and community, because together we make up the body of Christ, and together we ought to share, encourage and edify one another! LENTfest aims to embrace the Lenten season full heartedly and without reserve. We hope you join us!
